So wrote the Servant of God don Tonino Bello in one of his beautiful meditations.

It is inspired by his figure and his message of great hope and openness towards the world and the other Il Cammino di don Tonino, a project devised by the Diocese of Molfetta-Ruvo-Giovinazzo-Terlizzi on the occasion of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of his death in 2018 and supported by the Apulia Region's Department for Tourism and Culture through the Special Culture Fund 2019.

The itinerary was created with the desire to make the figure of the unforgettable Salento bishop known through the discovery of some of the most beautiful places in Puglia.

The itinerary starts from Molfetta, the bishop's seat of the diocese and a city that preserves numerous testimonies linked to the figure of don Tonino Bello, and ends in Salento in front of his tomb, in the hometown of Alessano.

A route of over 400 km that aims to put people in touch with nature, landscapes, art and traditions of the territory.

Through places of great cultural, religious and naturalistic value in the region's inland ridge, pilgrims will reach the tomb of Don Tonino and then continue to the physical end of the peninsula with the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae.

Romanesque cathedrals, the trulli of the Valle d'Itria, centuries-old olive trees, rock settlements and the Lecce Baroque are the main themes that will frame a richly evocative journey.
